Jerry just left a message at Comic Board for everyone !!
2003/9/27 10:43:41 a.m
Topic- Hi Everyone!
Have not been leaving messages for everyone for a very long time. I miss everyone so much!
Seeing all of you worrying, concern, tired for me every day and night, i really don't know how to repay everyone.
What i wanna say is, You peeps are the best !Everyone's got to be healthy. I am just like all of you, working hard for my next production. I hope everyone would like it!
I would also want to tell everyone that, in future, try not to help me do donations, and also not to quarrell with others because of me. I really thank all those friends who love me so much, I love you all too ! Hope you all are well!
I would also like to say another word to all friends out there, do not listen to the gossips and rumours out there. I am still me. If anything were to happen, i will inform everyone in the fastest time.
Don't forget me !
Yan Cheng Xu

Yes, Kris Aquino will have a "date" with Jerry Yan (more popularly known as Dao Meng Si, Bench’s newest endorser) on Sunday, Oct. 12, in Hong Kong. No, there’s nothing "romantic" about the date whatsoever. Kris is having an exclusive one-on-one with Jerry who is in Hong Kong shooting his first movie. The one-on-one will be shown as a TV special on ABS-CBN very soon to drumbeat for the concert of the F4 here sometime in November. All four boys – including Vic Zhou a.k.a. Hua Ze Lei, Ken Zhu a.k.a. Xi Men and Vanness Wu a.k.a. Mei Zuo, plus Barbi Xu a.k.a. Shan Cai – will perform, unlike last month when only two of them (Vanness and Ken) sang at a jampacked concert at the old ULTRA open field which was marred by a riot. I was also Kris who did an exclusive interview with the two guys. (Note: Kris will write about Vaness in her STAR column, Krispix, next weekend. Watch for it!) The F4 concert was negotiated by ABS-CBN Executive Vice President Charo Santos-Concio in Taipei recently. Besides the concert, there’s a possibility that the F4 might make a movie for Star Cinema (ABS-CBN’s sister company) and not, contrary to the web rumor, a chinovela to be produced here with local talents co-starring with the four guys. What’s more, Barbi Xu just might star in another Star Cinema movie with Piolo Pascual. Keep your fingers crossed, F4 fans! For an update on this "breaking news," tune in to this Sunday’e edition of The Buzz (4 to 5:30 p.m.) which is covering Kris’ trip to Hong Kong. Stay tuned. www.philstar.comkris confirm it in morning girls

Taiwan’s Jerry Yan went to HK to film for << Magical Kitchen >> and once again attracted over 200 fans to wait for him at the airport. Approximately 20 security guards were there to maintain order. At around 3pm Jerry, wearing a cap, appeared. The fans immediately screamed and continuously ran up to him to give him gifts. Afterwards they chased him to his car. Further more, that day Sammi was shooting for a hand phone advertisement. Due to having a skin allergic reaction, the shooting had to be immediately stopped. Besides effecting the advertisement, << Magical Kitchen >> had to also temporarily stop filming. Sammi’s manager said, “Sammi has already seen a doctor, taking medicine, and making good progress. Right now she is resting at home. To go as far as when she will resume work, we’ll have to see how things are tomorrow and it’s the doctor’s decision.”

Jerry Yan Films Fans on DV and Almost Fell
Both Jerry and Vanness have been labelled "Wooden without expression" when they went to HK to film their movies. This time F2 were all smiles, Jerry even used ZZ's tactic at the Pepsi Event and brought along a DV to film fans.
Jerry is on a secret trip in HK for the filming of <<Magical Kitchen>>. He went to Hair Culture to get his hair cut again. Over 50 fans managed to get inside news and even the boss Mr Lin went to check upon him. Jerry arrived at 6pm before leaving the salon at 8pm. It is revealed that Jerry is only getting a trim and no major changes will be made.
Hundreds of fans gathered at the airport and it was so crowded that security guards had to make a pathway for him. But Jerry was in a very good mood, smiling all along and filmed the scene with his DV, just as ZZ did during his Pepsi event. When fans saw his DV they screamed louder and yelled: "Jerry I love you" to the camera.
Jerry almost fell when filming but luckily there were body guards there to prevent him from falling. Jerry waved happily to fans, even after getting into his car, he displayed intimacy to his fans.
Vanness Wu arrived in HK yesterday for <<Star Runner>> . Similarly, there were 200 fans at the airport and like Jerry, he was all smiles and accepted presents from fans. Just to give presents to their idol, some fans had to battle with the guards, luckily no one was hurt.

Latest news from Jerryland Posted: 0:30 AM (Manila Time) | Oct. 18, 2003 Inquirer News Service IMAGINE paying a full month's salary to get baked under the sun, soaked in the rain, stampeded over by a crowd, seated in the bleachers-and not even see Jerry Yan. Unspeakable. Jerry Yan, of course, is arguably the most wildly desired worldwide among the four Asian hunks that comprise the celebrated Taiwanese boy band F4. Or Flower 4, whatever that means. And so when only co-band members Vaness Wu and Ken Zhu arrived in Manila recently for a live concert, together with "Meteor Garden" co-star Barbie Xu, more than a few diehard fans were disappointed. Jerry's good looks appeal strongly to Filipinos. Much like Piolo Pascual, Jerry has maintained a fairly clean-cut image with just a touch of boyish mischief-"maginoo pero medyo bastos," if you will. The character he plays in "Meteor Garden" certainly reinforces this image. Dao Ming Si is a spoiled rich kid with a violent temper. The only one who stands up to him is his love interest San Cai, his opposite in terms of upbringing and lifestyle. This classic yin-yang tale has thousands riveted to their TV set every afternoon. Spinach or siomai? PRICELESS. Who wants to bid for this bandana? In real life though, Jerry Yan-Cheng Xu in his native tongue-is a lot nicer than Dao Ming Si. Born in Taiwan, this 26-year-old stunner (he makes no effort to hide his real age) has a streak of the child in him. His superheroes are Spiderman and Popeye. Does he like spinach? Perhaps. But his ultimate comfort food is beef noodles with siomai. This will surely endear him to dimsum fanatics. We fearlessly predict sales increases in Chow King, Hen Lin, Joe Kuan and the like. But this doesn't mean Jerry doesn't appreciate the finer, more sophisticated things in life. His dream date is an afternoon (or evening) with his girlfriend, picnicking on the beach, sharing a bottle of wine. Discovering his preference would surely be scintillating. But is it true? Now the question on the mind of every hyper-ventilating fan, female or otherwise: Does Jerry have a girl? A story has been circulating in Jerryland that he is married, without children. This is supposedly "first hand" information from some girl's uncle who was Jerry's friend, pre-F4. Some speculate that Barbie (San Cai in the show) have a thing going on off screen. Then again they could just be good friends. Beyond "Meteor Garden," the F4 guys have an album called "Meteor Rain," which features the TV series' theme song, "Qing Fei Dei Yi." And of course, there's the Pepsi endorsement, which is a biggie. Also there's "Meteor Garden 2," which apparently has the cast running around in Spain, bringing the challenge to the very home of the telenovela. Whatever else Jerry has lined up, his legion of Filipino fans eagerly await his coming to our shores-possibly, hopefully in November. As the newest endorser for Bench, Jerry has agreed to visit, solo, to launch the campaign. Until then, look around and check people around you who may have started holding their breath

By Marichu Villanueva The Philippine Star 10/28/2003
If things go as planned, President Arroyo's next caller could be the main man of a Taiwanese boy band that has made waves in the Chinovela "Meteor Garden."
Jerry Yan of F-4 has expressed his desire to pay a courtesy call on the President when he comes to Manila for a concert on Nov. 29.
Yan, who plays Dao Ming Si in "Meteor Garden," will perform with fellow F-4 member Vic Zhu at the Fort in Makati City. It is not known whether Zhou, who plays Wah Sei-Lei in the same soap opera, will also pay a courtesy call on Mrs. Arroyo.
Yan's fellow F-4 members, Vanness, who plays Mei Zuo, and Ken Chu, who plays the role of Xiemen in the same Chinovela, were in Manila last month for a concert at the Ultra Stadium in Pasig City. They were here with "Meteor Garden" star Barbie Xu, who plays the character San Cai, and Dee Xu.
Sources told The STAR that official representatives of Yan and Zhu have requested a formal audience with the President through the office of First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo.
This was confirmed last week by Mr. Arroyo before he left for the United States for his annual medical checkup.
"One of the F-4 guys... would like to see the President," Mr. Arroyo said excitedly. "I think his name is Jerry Yan."
He did not say why the two Taiwanese stars, who have swept Filipino audiences off their feet with their music and acting, want to pay a courtesy call on the President.
The newest visitors to Malacanang, he said, would certainly be most welcome.
Filipino audiences have shown an overwhelmingly positive response to foreign soap operas, beginning with Spanish-language telenovelas "Marimar" and "Maria del Barrio," starring Mexican actress Thalia, and extending fandom for and preference to Chinese soap operas, including "Meteor Garden." The telenovelas and Chinovelas are aired with dubbing in Filipino.
"Meteor Garden" is aired from Mondays to Fridays at 5:30 p.m., with replays at 11:30 a.m., over ABS-CBN.

"Jerry vs Jay - Loser must Treat"
Taiwan's two hottest stars Jerry Yan and Jay Chou will come face to face on the 1st of November in Guang Zhou for the 5th Pepsi Face 2 Face event. This is the first time the Jerry and Jay have worked together. This collaboration has made the fans very feng kuang. With such a big event, security is the main issue, with over 30 guards coming from HK to protect the 2 stars. There will be 200 guards at the event to maintain order.
There will be 1500 fans at the event, coming from HK, China and 15 other Asian cities. To prevent people forging fake tickets, upon entrance, people would need to present both their ticket and invitation from Pepsi. Pepsi has put extra security on the tickets and each person will have their ticket inspected by security guards at the entrance, to prevent forgers.
As this it the first time that the 2 stars have performed together, onstage time will be equally divided between the two, so no one is unfairly treated. The stage will have huge cardboard stands of the two stars. The theme of the night will be "Lan Yu Shuan Qiong." There will be much interaction between the audience and the stars and the fans will be able to get up close and personal with their idols. Jay will be conducting the thousand or so fans to sing. Whilst Jerry will have some dangerous performances. He will be reperforming some parts of his stunt-filled commercial with the fans. There will be a 'battle' (ie. basketball match) between Jay and Jerry, whoevery loses must treat the other to dinner

Jerry Yan Shocked, as Fan falls
Jerry Yan and Jay Chou, these 2 superstars, would be attending the Pepsi Face to Face event in Guangzhou today. According to what we know, in order not to create chaos when both stars meet, they arranged for them to arrive by different ways, one from the land , and one from the air. Thus, Jay Chou took a plane to Hk airport before he transit on another plane to GuangZhou, whereas, Jerry, took a plane to Hk, and then changed to a train to Guangzhou.
Automatically waves and says Byebye
At around 3plus yesterday afternoon, Jerry still did not appear, lots of fans have already started waiting for him. When wearing his cap and a tee-shirt Jerry appeared, with the company of over 10 boduguards walking out of the airport customs, "Jerry!Jerry!" could be heard. Fans pushed themselfs foward in order to pass presents to him. The normally cool Jerry was rather close today. He was full of smiles and would accept the gifts, shake hands and even automatically waves byebye to fans. We could see how heartwarming he was, although he did not say anything throughout the whole trip, fans have already faint with all his little actions.
Building a human barrier as Protection
When Jerry stepped out of the airport, as fans were all to heartwarming, rushing towards the bodyguards, bodyguards had no choice but to hold hands to form a human barrier to protect Jerry. While some fans almost fall, Jerry was so shocked (opens his mouth). When Jerry left, some fans got up to hired cars to continue chasing, some left readily. Fans were satisfied with Jerry's appearence and actions, and they felt he was very "ZHENG4".

‘Meteor Garden’ visits GMA By Ma. Theresa Torres, Reporter The normally laidback female staffers at Malacañang, long used to hordes of VIP visitors, are agog with curiosity about President Arroyo’s guest on Thursday. Jerry Yan, the most popular member of the Asian boy band F4, will pay a courtesy call on President Arroyo tomorrow at 2 p.m. Yan, who gained fame as Dao Ming Si on the hit TV show Meteor Garden, will be in Manila for three days as part of his endorsement contract with the local garment retailer Bench. He will return on the last week of November 29 to give a concert with another F4 member and fellow Meteor Garden actor, Vic Zhou, and Barbie Xu and her sister Dee. Although Palace organizers expect no political endorsement from Yan—who does not speak English—sources said photographs of the President and the Taiwanese actor may be used in the 2004 presidential campaign to help bring Mrs. Arroyo “closer to the people.” source: www.manilatimes.net/national/2003/nov/05/top_stories/20031105top7.html

Dao shall come again... Posted: 1:05 AM (Manila Time) | Nov. 08, 2003 By Tim Yap Inquirer News Service
BUSH has left.
But last Thursday, Malacañang Palace was again abuzz with people-from congressmen and their wives to friends and family Cabinet members and the media.
Jerry Yan, a.k.a. Dao Ming Si just arrived.
The Taiwanese soap actor, Bench's latest endorser, smiled and waved at his welcomers. During his courtesy call with President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, he was allegedly told that the First Couple loved watching "Meteor Garden."
Even First Granddaughter Mikaela Gloria, who just turned a year old, had her photo taken with the actor. Several cancer patients and orphans were also invited to the Palace to meet Dao.
The Dao Ming Si fever is not limited to the masses. At the Peninsula Manila where Jerry Yan was billeted at the Presidential suite, the lobby was filled with people hoping to get a "Dao sighting"-acting nonchalant while having their ice cream. I could see the headlines, though: "Pandemonium at the Pen."
Yesterday, Bench held a press conference for their endorser at Le Pavilion. As early as six a.m., fans lined the perimeter of the venue, but only select members of the press and friends of Bench who carried with them a Bench passport (the one shown here) were allowed entry.
A VIP and press lunch was supposed to be hosted by top honcho Ben Chan, but it had to give way to another event. Besides, Yan's managers were also very strict with his schedules and he had to proceed to his exclusive interview with ABS-CBN, where a movie is reportedly in the works under Star Cinema.
Sorry d kami na naka update kahapon kasi nag cramming na kami nung time na ni jerry..sorry guys basta ang masasabi namin ang gwapo ni jerry yan..lagay namin ang pix d2 promise..mamyang gabi hehhe...

Mate good idea kasi metoeric star pexer naman tau eh hahaha Meteoric star ready to disrobe Posted: 11:14 PM (Manila Time) | Nov. 08, 2003 By Marinel R. Cruz and Che-Che Moral Inquirer News Service Fits Bench image Yan admitted his aversion to shopping, and professed his preference for casual wear. His favorites from the Bench collections, he said, were the underwear. When Lifestyle asked if he preferred boxers or briefs, he smiled bashfully, and simply said he liked both, to the dismay of eager fans who were practically drooling for juicier and more personal details about their idol. "Jerry is sporty and that fits the Bench image," Chan said. "He has a lean and muscular physique that's a delight to dress up." Or -- if an underwear endorsement deal is ever forged --a delight to undress. Yan also encouraged Filipino fans of his group, F4, to support other Taiwanese pop groups like 5566 and Energy "because they are really hardworking." "I hope they become successful, too," Yan said of the other Taiwanese groups in Friday's lunch with local media people. "Meteor Garden," featuring Yan and the other members of F4, is a hit on ABS-CBN. Another Taiwanese pop group, 5566, whose debut album has taken many parts of Asia by storm, starred on GMA 7's "My MVP Valentine." The 5566 band had held the top spot in record sales charts in Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Of F4, Yan insisted that it has not been disbanded. He said he and the other members of the group were simply busy with their individual careers.
